Terms and Agreement

Birds Sold in Good Health

Every bird is thoroughly examined by me and sold in good health at the time of sale. Any bird(s) with slight imperfections will be clearly stated and are still guaranteed to be in good health. All birds come from disease tested parents negative for PBFD, Polyoma Virus, Psittacosis, and Borna Virus.

Buyer's Responsibility

By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have conducted thorough research on the species you are buying and have a basic understanding of its specific care needs. This includes providing a safe and clean environment, proper nutrition, and regular veterinary care to ensure your bird’s health and well-being. I am not responsible for any damages caused by the bird(s) after the sale.

Post-Purchase Health Examination

All birds are presumed to be in good health at the time of sale. You are encouraged to have the bird(s) examined by a certified avian or exotic veterinarian, NOT a normal dog and cat vet, within 5 days of delivery.

If a serious health issue affecting the bird's well-being is confirmed by the vet, you can either:

  • Return the bird(s) for a full refund

  • Exchange the bird(s) for a replacement of the same type (if available).

Refunds or replacements require the bird(s) to be returned to me first. I am not responsible for any vet or shipping costs. A new agreement will be signed for any replacement bird(s). The health guarantee does not cover any minor gram-negative, gram-positive, or fungal infections caused by stress unless deemed severe or life-threatening to the vet. If you do not have the bird(s) examined by a veterinarian within 5 days of pickup, you accept the bird(s) "AS IS" and waive any health guarantees.

Refund Policy for Post-Sale Deaths

If the bird(s) die after receiving them, you must have a necropsy performed within 72 hours to determine the cause of death. Bird(s) must be kept in refrigeration as freezing can damage the tissues. A certified veterinarian or lab must complete the necropsy. Photos of the deceased bird(s) must also be provided along with documentation. Refunds are only considered if the necropsy confirms a pre-existing health issue. I am not responsible for any necropsy costs.

Shipping Disclaimer

Shipping is done only through Delta Airlines.

Although these situations are extremely rare and typically never happen, as with any process, there are still risks involved. In the unlikely event that a bird(s) arrives deceased (DOA), you must contact me immediately after pickup and provide proof in the form of pictures and video. You will receive a 50% refund for the bird(s). If the bird(s) appears to be sick or lethargic at the time of pickup, you must contact me immediately and provide proof in the form of pictures and video, and I will try my best to help you. Although I have never witnessed a shipment getting lost, I am not responsible for any lost shipments caused by Delta Airlines. I will try my best to file and win a claim, which then you will receive a refund for whatever amount paid for the bird. No refunds will be issued for shipping costs unless Delta Airlines refunds that as well which is $160 ONLY.

Payment Method & Deposit Policy

A $100 deposit is required per bird and is non-refundable if you cancel the purchase, this ensures a committed buyer. Deposit will only be refunded if I can no longer sell the bird(s). If for any reason you can no longer proceed with the purchase, you can use that same deposit for any future bird(s). Deposit can be transferred to a different bird(s) if still available. Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, and Venmo (Friends and Family).

Final Sale Policy

All sales are final once the bird(s) leaves my care. Refunds or returns are only considered under the conditions outlined in the terms listed above.
